Numb to all the anger, chaos, and pain

From the depths of the darkness I’ve invited upon myself

The hopes that you had deserted
Stretch out their hands towards the light

Mere platitudes are not enough to keep you safe
All excuses and pleas are empty and unconvincing
Truer than the Truth.
I will close that gaping wound with my own flesh and blood
So never stop shining/being who you are

Let’s head northwest.
While god is preoccupied with something else

There’s nothing here worth a damn anyways

Oblivious malice rears its wide-eyed head
Pointing, laughing, and feeling sorry for us
Doing that annoying thing with its eyes
Leaving us only after it’s turned us into ashes

Nothing more useless than the next guy voicing his ideals

More sinful than evil.
This wide, shallow world pays no attention to the forgotten
