"It's So Nice to Be a Soldier", German soldiers' love song composed in 1937 by Herms Niel (1888-1954). Performed by Bruno Seidler-Winkler's Brass Band (from Berlin); the uncredited vocal group is very likely Erich Heyn's Quartet. Recorded in Berlin, 1939.
