Cilla Black Faded Images

This is the opening track from Cilla's sixth LP, Images, released on Parlophone Records in 1971, and for my money this Kenny Lynch / Tony Hicks song is far and away the best track she ever recorded.

Images was the penultimate album Cilla made with George Martin at the helm, and the warm, lush production adds added shimmer and gloss to this luscious pop confection.
