German soldiers' love song composed in 1938 by Herms Niel (1888-1954). Performed by Joe Bund's Dance Orchestra (from Berlin), with the Metropol Vocalists. Recorded in Berlin, 1939.
Additional info: song about a couple in love (a soldier and a girl called Hannelore), separated, but still loyal to each other. It originally has three strophes; 1st and 3rd strophe recorded. Joe Bund played here a march-fox arrangement, without the long march-intro.
