アイドルストリート第3弾グループのGEMが2014年夏に初お披露目をしたオリジナル曲「Star Shine Story」を満を持してサードシングルとして発売することが決定。
『デキるアイドル』＝GEM、らしく「アーティスティック性×アイドル性が絶妙に融合し楽曲とパフォーマンスで表現している」と好評を受けてシングル発売となった。
今作ではクラシックな曲調とアイドルポップスのメロディの融合に挑戦。
