Jim Yong Kim Speaks at Dartmouth Summer Lecture Series "Leading Voices in Politics & Policy"

Dartmouth President Jim Yong Kim called on President Obama to "tackle cost and quality" issues in health care in a July 14 lecture in the "Leading Voices in Politics and Policy" series.

Kim said the president should undertake a program that makes innovation in health care a priority in the way presidents John F. Kennedy and George W. Bush did with the space program and worldwide HIV/AIDS relief, respectively. In the lecture, Kim also discussed the Dartmouth Atlas of Health Care research and the new Dartmouth Center for Health Care Delivery Science.
