Jamie Wilson started out her career as the shy one at College Station open mics, but 2013 finds her as one of the busiest, most in-demand live performers and collaborators in the state of Texas. A rural-route wife and mom in her secret identity, she's also one of the most evocative songwriters in modern Texas/Red Dirt/Americana/etc. and has a voice that's earned comparisons to the acclaimed likes of Emmylou Harris and Gillian Welch. Formerly of the inventive folk band the Gougers, currently of the terrific all-female quartet The Trishas, and a friend (and often co-writer) to just about any local songwriter in need of a killer harmony, Jamie Wilson makes timeless look effortless. She's no less a force when she flies solo.
