The Japanese Taiko Drum Soloist, Hiro Hayashida has been acting as a judge for the Senior High School Cultural Festival, Japanese Folk Performing Arts Division sponsored by All Japan Senior High School Cultural Federation for a long period of time and had seen so many amazed performances and their pure and passionate devotion for playing the Japanese Taiko Drums.  

In 2012, the teenagers actively performing the taiko drums with real strong ability national-wide were gathered and "Super Taiko Junior" was established to bring the attention from all and to be recognized how those teenagers are magnificent, share the deep impressions, believing this would lead and bound up to the future Japanese Taiko world.

The eager teenagers residing in different locations support each other and help each other to work hard together and share this wonderful experience to become one.

SHINRA　／　スーパー太鼓ジュニア　（プロデュース：林田ひろゆき）
ソロ和太鼓奏者の林田ひろゆきは、全国高等学校文化連盟の審査員を長年に渡り務めることで、若い高校生の和太鼓に向かう純粋でひたむきな姿勢による演奏で数多くの感動的な場面に出会ってきました。
そして、この子ども達の素晴らしさを多くの一般の人にも知って頂くこと、感動を共有して頂くことが、和太鼓界の発展と日本の文化の発展に繋がると確信に至り、2012年、全国で活動している中高生の実力ある太鼓奏者を一堂に集め、『スーパー太鼓ジュニア』を起ち上げました。
それぞれの異なる地域に根ざした若者同士がひとつの団体として楽曲に取り組むことで、お互いを支え合い、助け合い、切磋琢磨し、演奏を通じて感動を分かち合うことで、全国の様々な太鼓奏者がライバル意識や敵対心ばかりでなく同じ奏者として心をひとつにし、和太鼓界と日本の文化の発展を目指す。
