London club clique, ManMakeMusic present their 2nd release; a warm, rolling House collaboration from Jack Dixon and his pal, Rock Grant, backed with a smart Kevin McPhee remix. The title tune's a subtly uplifting groover built from off-kilter, shaking drums run thru with convective Juno chords. Flipside 'Muted' is more melancholic, deploying a chopped-up and bluesy vocal snippet with clipped 2-step drums, while Kevin McPhee converts 'Running Man' into a blue and jazz-inflected beatdown number, kinda like Nicolas Jaar meets Detroit Elevator Company.
