In August or September of 1961, Little recorded this under the production of Teddy Charles. It was his fourth and last album. On October 5, Booker Little died of Uremia, a disease that had been causing him great pain for some time. A run of creativity and growth that seemed on the ascent with ever increasing momentum came to an abrupt halt. It is difficult to escape the feeling that we are left with a brilliant legacy that was still only the beginning.
