This album is heavily inspired by (indie) video games, chiptunes, video games music & pop culture from the 80's and the 90's: all my childhood and the huge nostalgia I have about it. I must also thanks great musicians such as C418, Disasterpeace and Jim Guthrie: their work is really great but, above all, they were very inspirational to me because of their musical freedom and the obvious pleasure they take to compose their awesome music.

If you're still there reading, this is the tracklisting and some words about each track:

1. "Reset": this is the opening track and, as my music is supposed to take back in time the listeners, I thought it could be a cool name. Furthermore, I’m still in love with this big RESET button on the Super Nintendo.

2. "Hello World": every games developer or programmer should know what it means ;)

3. "Hello How Low?": a quote from Nirvana’s « smells like teen spirit » one of the huge musical impacts for me when I was a kid. I use to watch the video clip on MTV at my grand parents house (well, my parents didnt have MTV)

4. "Eternal Sunshine": a title inspired by the awesome movie « Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind » by Michel Gondry.

5. "The Best Christmas Present Ever": that was when I received the video game Donkey Kong Country for SNES in 1994… BEST. CHRISTMAS. EVER. Period.

6. "A Link To Our Past": an obvious wink at one of the greatest game from my childhood « Zelda III a link to the past »

7. "Wallow In Sorrow": because it happens…

8. "Soundtrack Of A Soul": a track inspired by the marvelous work of Disasterpeace on the great video game FEZ

9. "Soul Of A Chip": while composing the intro of this track I was thinking of Jim Guthrie’s work on the awesome soundtrack of « Indie Games the Movie ».

10. "I Guess I Should Play Minecraft": because I’ve never played it.

11. "Pixel Cemetery": a sad place were end all our old beloved video games…

12. "Electronicountryside": a mix of 2 lovely things.

13. "Be Cool Like Yoshi": always… and the world would be a better place.

14. "Seiklus Sky": an awesome indie video game made by Clysm (Tapeworm) long time ago on gamemaker. The art is beautiful, very inspirational, and it features some great chiptune tracks by Radix.

15. "Old Man Yells At Cloud": because The Simpsons made my childhood.

16. "My Venerable Cat": I actualy have an old and venerable black cat and he deserves a song.

17. "The Joy Of Getting Older": because it’s true and we always should look at the bright side of things.

Feel free to talk around you or online about my music, that would be really cool... Take care!
